Sara created Hartley Voices in 2003 and has worked passionately over the last decade to develop it into a resilient and enviable team of the most talented performers and ensemble leaders to bring unique, beautiful, engaging and entertaining performances to all of the UK’s varied events and abroad.
She fused her love and talent for performing with her other natural talent for organisation and creativity, creating a platform where people can find fabulous, reliable performers for their events. An accomplishment that Sara is profoundly proud of and humbled by.
Sara earned her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance with Departmental Distinction from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied with the talented mezzo-soprano and vocal department chair Wendy Hillhouse while simultaneously learning the practical skills of the music business as an administrative assistant in the ‘Music to Go’ department at the conservatory. It was because of her almost chance and definitively fortunate experience in this unique role, managing the booking of the conservatory’s talented students out for private events, where she learned the practicalities of the business which acted as the foundation for her role developing and leading this unique company when she returned to London.
