Wedding choir hire – Our eight voice choir performed some superb music requested by the bride and groom, Arabella and Ed for their wedding on Saturday the 6th of May 2017. We began with some incidental music approximately 20 mins before service including ‘Jesu, joy of man’s desiring’ – Johann Sebastian Bach and Cantique de Jean Racine – Gabriel Faure. During the service we sang to lead the hymn ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful – Cecil Frances, and performed the beautiful choral anthem ‘Set me as a seal upon thy heart’ by William Walton and also ‘God be in My Head’ by John Rutter. Finally for the signing of the register the choir sang 3 pieces
‘I Beheld her, beautiful as a dove’ – Healey Willan, the Flower Duet (Lakme) – Leo Delibes, and ‘Beati Quorum via’ – Charles Villiers Stanford.
