Ksynia, talented mezzo-soprano, graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in July 2009 with a Masters in Vocal Studies where she gained a Distinction. She is taught by Elizabeth Ritche and has participated in the ENO Opera Works training scheme from September 2009.

Opera roles include Anna in Jonathan Dove’s “Tobias and the Angel” for the Buxton Festival and the Bollington Festival, Hansel for the Northern Chamber Orchestra’s production of “Hansel and Gretel” and Cherubino in Birmingham Conservatoire’s production of “Le Nozze di Figaro” under the baton of Lionel Friend.

Ksynia as also covered the roles of Lucinda in Mendelssohn’s “Die Hochzeit des Camacho” and Nora in “Riders to the Sea” for the Buxton Festival. Opera chorus work includes the Buxton Festival Chorus 2009 (Donizetti’s “Lucrezia Borgia” and Messager’s “Veronique”), Carmen for Raymond Gubbay in Feb-March 2009, the Buxton Festival Chorus 2008 (Handel’s “Samson”, Lortzing’s “The Poacher” and Vaugan Williams’ “Riders to the Sea”), Vaughan Williams’ “The Pilgrim’s Progress” for Richard Hickox at Saddler’s Wells in summer 2008 and producions of La Boheme, Onegin and Don Giovanni for British Youth Opera in 2006.

Oratorio work includes Mezzo/Alto roles in most of the major repertoire and Ksynia sings regularly with choral societies around the country. In London Ksynia currently sings with the OAE Voices, Philharmonia Voices, The London Voices, Hartley Voices and Appollo Voices. She has a job-share at St. John’s Wood Church and deps at several other London churches.

Ksynia also enjoys recital singing and regularly performs a wide range of English, German and French song repertoire in recitals, weddings and other functions.
