\"hireBass-baritone Peter trained with the renowned Irish baritone Michael Maurel. He began his career in Hastings performing fully-staged operas with experienced professional singers and directors Michael Maurel, Fred Westcott, Geoffrey Shovelton, John Winfield, Brenda Stanley and Alistair Dawes amongst many others. His professional debut in a major role was as Mozart\u2019s Figaro for London Opera Players, to which he quickly added Malatesta (Don Pasquale) at Holland Park, Dandini (La Cenerentola), Onegin and a number of other, largely lyric, baritone roles.

Peter has frequently taken on the role of Music Host for Saga Holidays since 2011, and in this role has written and presented hundreds of illustrated talks & recitals about many major composers whilst hosting eight Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra seasons and two seasons of the Festival Internacional de M\u00fasica de Canarias (Canary Islands International Music Festival), most of the G&S \u2018canon\u2019 whilst hosting International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival holidays in Buxton and many of the large-scale operas such as A\u00efda, Turandot and Carmen whilst covering the larger part of seven seasons of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival.<\/div>
