\"SaraSoprano and founder of Hartley Voices, Sara earned her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance with Departmental Distinction from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied with the talented mezzo-soprano and vocal department chair Wendy Hillhouse.<\/p>\n

Her operatic soprano lead roles include that of Suor Angelica, in the title role of this Puccini opera for the\u00a0Festi\u2019Val de Musique Valois in Provence, France; Mrs Waters, the lead role in Ethel Smyth’s Opera The Boatswain’s Mate with St Albans Chamber Opera; Gretel in Hansel & Gretel in San Francisco, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro in Berkeley; Loretta in Gianni Schicchi in Minnesota and Julie in Carousel in the St Albans Arena. Some of Sara\u2019s many international achievements in competition include San Francisco Conservatory of Music Scholarship, Burlingame Voice Competition First Prize, California Federation of Music Clubs Competition Prize, St. Olaf Senior Soloist, and the Winston Cassler Music Scholarship.<\/p>\n
