Armin
Armin, born in Glasgow, completed an MPhil in Musicology at Selwyn College, Cambridge in 2001. Since then he has studied singing with Penelope Mackay and now with Rudolf Piernay at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Armin recently created the role of Philippus in Ita Vivam, a new opera by Christina Athinodorou, at Guildhall, and was selected for Academie Europeenne, Ambronay, in September and October 2005 to perform the role of 'Dom Carlos' in Campra's 'L'Europe Gallante' with William Christie on European tour.

Other operatic roles include Dorilas in Charpentier's 'Le Malade Imaginaire' Prologue with the Guildhall School of Music, chorus in the Guildhall production of Nielsen’s Maskerade, and Matt in the ENO/Baylis production of Kurt Weill’s Threepenny Opera. He has appeared as soloist in Brahms’ German Requiem in London, Haydn’s Creation in Wolverhampton and in Bach’s St John Passion in Rome and Umbria, as well as singing Bach’s B Minor Mass under Richard Egarr at Snape Maltings as a member of the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme in 2003.
