Adrian
Adrian was born in Oxford. He was awarded a scholarship to the London Opera Centre and subsequently made his debut with Opera For All, singing Ramiro (La Cenerentola) and Tonio (La Fille du Regiment). At Covent Garden he has sung the Dancing Master (Ariadne auf Naxos), Pong (Turandot) and Desire (Fedora). For English National Opera, Camille (The Merry Widow), Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Steersman (Flying Dutchman), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Ferrando (Cosi fan Tutte), Nadir (The Pearl Fishers), Rodolfo (La Boheme) and Ernesto (Don Pasquale). For Glyndebourne Touring Opera, Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Idamante (Idomeneo), and Rodolfo. For Welsh National Opera, Lensky (Eugene Onegin). For Opera North Alfredo (La Traviata), Steersman, Camille, Ishmael (Nabucco), Sali (A Village Romeo and Juliet), Tamino, Jaquino (Fidelio), Nadir and Ernesto. For Scottish Opera he appeared in La Scala di Seta.

Foreign engagements include the title role in Les Contes d'Hoffmann and Don Ottavio in St Gallen, Hoffman for Hamburg State Opera and Zurich Opera, Tybalt (Romeo and Juliette) for Paris Opera, Rodolfo and Nadir with Lyric Opera of Queensland. For Netherlands Opera, Narrator (Il Combattimento di Tancredi et Clorinda); Ernesto for New Israeli Opera and Nadir in New Zealand. The Bohemian Girl for RTE and Der Bucklige (Frau ohne Schatten) at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris. From 1994 to 1996 he sang Piangi (The Phantom of the Opera) in Manchester and Edinburgh. He has recently completed a very successful tour of America, playing Camille in The Merry Widow.
